Norton & CCG
Coastal Contemporary is now curating guest artists for Norton Framing and Gallery in Massachusetts.
This collaboration brings additional exposure to its artists and creatively expands a footprint into a neighboring state.
Norton Framing & Gallery has been located in the heart of Padanaram Village since Raymond and Judy Norton opened the doors in 1983. The gallery has been owned and operated by their son, Philip Norton since 2009.
Philip is the 3rd generation to carry on Norton Gallery which started as Norton's Oriental Gallery located on Thame Street in Newport, RI, (just a few blocks from where Coastal Contemporary Gallery stands today) and run by his grandparents Kaye and Al Norton. They continue to be known for providing its customers with exceptional custom framing design and assemblage alongside a freshly curated assortment of art ranging from local favorites to national award-winning artists.

Raising awareness for globally conscious ways to help the environment with scheduled beach clean ups, composting and more.
Skye Gallery & CCG
We team up to curate two simultaneous exhibitions running in Newport and Providence, RI. Each gallery selected five guests and five of its roster artists to create Coastal Skye.
Live With Lucy
In August 2018, we invited Lucy Stevens to create a pop-up studio and paint for our audience. She allowed the public to come in and participate and add layers to her paintings in process.
