Massachusetts artist, Michele Poirier-Mozzone, is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA) and holds a Master Circle designation with the International Association of Pastels Societies (IAPS/MC). She is also a Signature Member of the Connecticut Pastel Society and the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. Her paintings are held in private collections across the United States and Europe.
Michele's work has garnered numerous awards in national and international competitions and is held in private collections across the country. Her paintings have been exhibited at PSA and IAPS exhibitions in New York City, Boston and Albuquerque, NM. She has participated in solo and group shows throughout the United States and her work has been featured in numerous prestigious national publications, including International Artist Magazine (cover feature, Aug/Sept 2016), Pastel Journal Magazine, Practique des Arts, 2016 & 2018 (France) and Cape Cod Art Magazine (cover feature, 2017). Most recently, The Artists’ Network featured Michele’s Fractured Light series and painting process in its email newsletter.
A popular instructor of pastel workshops throughout New England, Michele also regularly teaches pastel painting for the Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education Program and at the Providence Art Club.
